Ghanaian Afrobeat sensation King Promise has received a prestigious nomination for the 2025 MOBO Awards. The talented artist is vying for the Best African Music Act category, which recognizes standout performances in African music.

This year, King Promise faces stiff competition from a lineup of incredible artists, including Nigeria’s Asake, Ayra Starr, and Tems, as well as other African stars such as Odumodu Blvck, Shallipopi, Tyla, and Uncle Waffles.

This marks King Promise’s second MOBO Awards nomination. His first nomination came in 2021 in the same category, although that year, the award was claimed by Nigerian superstar Wizkid.
