Ghanaian musician Bright Homenya, popularly known as Article Wan, has spoken out about the challenges he faces in the music industry. He highlighted issues such as a lack of support, favoritism, and the influence of gatekeepers who control opportunities for artists.

According to the Solo hitmaker, despite his relentless efforts, navigating the industry has been an uphill battle.

Ghana is sitting on Article Wan, and it’s frustrating. I have so much to offer, but I can’t do it alone. I need support, yet some key players have overlooked me, which isn’t fair. But I’m pushing through,” he expressed.

He also addressed the role of industry gatekeepers, acknowledging their power in shaping the careers of artists. While he hopes there is no deliberate attempt to sideline him, he finds the situation concerning.

I don’t want to believe there’s a deliberate plan to sabotage me, but based on what I’ve observed, it’s quite worrying,” he noted.

Furthermore, Article Wan emphasized the impact of favoritism, stating that artists who are not part of certain circles often struggle to access the same opportunities as their peers.
