Nacee, a renowned Ghanaian gospel musician and producer, has highlighted the financial difficulties faced by gospel artists, particularly the issue of insufficient payments for their performances.
Speaking to GhanaWeb, Nacee expressed concern over how event organizers often underpay gospel musicians, a situation he believes hampers the growth of the gospel music industry.
“We don’t receive the financial support we need. Most gospel musicians perform at events, but the organizers fail to pay them what they truly deserve,” he stated, adding that this financial strain creates unnecessary hardships for artists.
He underscored the need for better financial support to advance their ministry, stating, “Good financial backing will allow us to achieve so much more.” Nacee shared these remarks during the 2024 Praise Achievement Awards, held on November 24 at the Perez Dome in Accra.
